Ms. Dalina, Mr. Ayd, Ms. Smith, and Mrs. Schucker led a group of twenty St. Bonaventure Scholars on a visit to several small parks in the Northern Virginia and Washington D.C. area. They enjoyed hiking the Swamp Trail on Theodore Roosevelt Island, eating lunch, watching airplanes fly over at Gravelly Point Park (near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport), and hiking to the beautiful overlook points at Great Falls National Park.
Curley St. Bonaventure Scholars have the opportunity to experience learning outside of the classroom.
