Congratulations to Kyle Perkins who was presented with the McCormick Unsung Hero Award. Kyle was a member of the Curley Varsity Football team and worked incredibly hard. He will be attending Harford CC next year.
McCormick’s Unsung Heroes program was founded by the late Charles Perry McCormick Sr. in 1940. The mission of the program is to recognize athletes for unselfish team play and highlight the efforts of those who contribute to the success of their teams without acclaim.
Each year, McCormick & Co. honors male and female high school seniors who are student athletes in the Baltimore area with the McCormick Unsung Heroes Award. Students are nominated from all sports who display such character traits as: Good sportsmanship, Dedication, Integrity, and a Positive attitude.
