Our EV Engineering students are closing in on finishing the electric vehicle. Since the last update, students have installed both the control box and the low-voltage panel into the car and connected the various wiring systems to their components. At the same time, other students finished putting together our mechanic’s cart and began organizing our tools. Thanks again to Tim at Tim’s Automotive for the mechanic’s cart and additional tools. Lastly, students ended off the week by attaching the chain to the motor. Our vehicle will be ready to be driven in a few weeks.
