Archbishop Curley High School is proud to announce the launch of the NEW Friar logo as part of the continuing evolution of its athletic brand.
The school has grown and evolved over the past 60 years, and after an absence in recent years, the desire grew for a refreshed treatment of the Friar Mascot. This treatment reflects a more modern look and captures the spirit of an athletic brand that strives for DEDICATION to improvement, faithfulness to TRADITION and EXCELLENCE in performance.
From its opening, the Curley staff has included Conventual Franciscan Friars who continue to have a presence in the administration and classrooms. The Friars have shared with the school the Franciscan tradition of education and the spirit of Brotherhood, making Curley the only school for young men in Maryland with this tradition.
The design treatment of this renewed Friar logo strives to be both contemporary in appearance and with an eye to the future.
The campus store and athletic teams will soon carry items with our new FRIAR Brand!
