A capacity audience enjoyed the concert of the Curley Choirs on December 2nd. The full 104-voice Curley Choir presented two sets totaling 13 songs ranging from the sacred, such as “O Jesus, King Most Wonderful) to holiday classics such as “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!”. The Curley Schola sang three pieces including “Lord, Make Me An Instrument of Thy Peace” by the iconic choral composer John Rutter. The Curley Ringers, the school’s handbell ensemble, performed two pieces, one directed by senior student conductor Peter Zito. A combined choir of students and alumni, the Luminare Choir, included in its set the hauntingly beautiful “Ave Maria” by contemporary composer Franz Biebl. The choirs were directed and accompanied by Mr. Michael Gaffney.
