Curley celebrated the 25th Anniversary of The Curley Gala “Under The Stars” on April 9, 2022. For the first time, the Gala was held off campus, at the Boumi Temple on King Ave. This happened to be the home base of Raul Frevel ’91 and Atlantic Caterers who provided the food from their own kitchens. The guests were greeted by an elegant setting with live piano music provided by Michal Mann ’23 and hors d’oeuvres butlered by volunteer Curley students in tuxedoes. One could bid on nine tables of silent auction items using their phones. The wonderful surf and turf dinner was followed by the Verbal Auction of 25 items. Jonathan Melnick and his associates were the auctioneers. Everyone was happy to be together (after two virtual Galas) and enjoyed the premier event of Curley’s social (and fundraising) calendar.
The winner of the 2022 Jeep was Donna Parsons. The vehicle was donated by Andrew and Michele White and Don White’s Timonium Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram.
Thank you to the chair-couples: Mike ’90 and Beth Diem; Ron and Nancy Covahey.
Thank you to Image Engineering who provided the lighting.
