Dear Curley Parents and Families,
As we wrote last week, effective April 12, the first school day after the Easter break and the first day of
the 4th quarter, Curley will return to 5 days of instruction, using our regular six-day cycle of classes.
Students will be welcome to attend every day, while we maintain health screenings, masking and social
distancing. A key part of this plan is for parents to once again declare their intentions for their son’s
learning mode in the 4th quarter. Please be sure to review all the information on the following pages and
declare your son’s learning mode.
Once you have read all the details of the plan, please click on the following link to declare your son’s
learning mode for the 4th quarter. Before making your choice of learning modes, remember:
Students who attend in-person will still be asked to remain home and attend school virtually if
they are ill or in close contact with a confirmed/potential COVID case. In these situations, the
student will be permitted to attend school virtually on that day(s) without negatively impacting
his academic progress.
The virtual learning option will require that your son be available for learning at home during the
hours of our school day. Students who opt for this mode of learning will be provided with
synchronous instruction and learning experiences, independent work, and opportunities to meet
virtually with teachers. Students will engage in the same content as students learning in-person,
and will be assessed using the same criteria.
Please declare your son’s learning mode by Tuesday March 30th. Click here to declare your son’s learning
mode.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
Pax et Bonum,
Brian J. Kohler
