“Let us give thanks to the Lord…for God’s love endures forever.” In these words of Psalm 136, the psalmist finds many reasons for which to give thanks. In these troubled times, some of us find it hard to give thanks and be optimistic. As we celebrate this national day of thanksgiving, look for and rejoice in who we are and what we have and remember those who are suffering or go without.
